How to reach out JUIT Waknaghat from Delhi:
By Bus: This is the most common mode of transport used by students. You can board any HRTC bus or private Volvo from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. You can take a bus to Shimla and get down at Waknaghat bus stop which lies on the main highway (NH-5). From there you can hire a taxi for ₹150-200 to reach the university gates (3 km downhill drive). The bus journey from Delhi to Waknaghat takes around 8 to 10 hours.
By Train: Board the Kalka Shatabdi Express from New Delhi (NDLS) to Kalka. From there you can either take the toy train to Kandaghat (and then hire a taxi or board a bus for Waknaghat), or directly hire a taxi from Kalka to Waknaghat.
How to reach out JUIT Waknaghat from Chandigarh:
By Bus: You can hire a bus from Chandigarh ISBT Sector 43. Almost all buses going towards Shimla stop at Waknaghat. The Chandigarh to Waknaghat bus ride takes around 3 to 4 hours.
By Cab: There are sharing cabs available from Chandigarh ISBT directly to Waknaghat. It'll cost you ₹500-800 per seat.
